Research Belton Hospital offers all digital mammograms and is certified as a softer mammogram provider. We provide soft, foam, breast pad, called MammoPad®, for each woman's personal use during every screening mammogram. As a softer mammogram provider, we make it a top priority to ensure your mammogram is warm and comfortable. We want you to feel comfortable knowing that your mammogram will be warm, soft, and are the latest in technology for breast screening in the fight against breast cancer.

The MammoPad® breast cushion was designed for women by a female breast surgeon. MammoPad® has been cleared by the FDA and does not impair image quality; which can help make you warm and comfortable during your exam. Our highly skilled mammography technologists (with over 30 years combined experience) achieve the best possible mammogram in the most comfortable way. Research Belton Hospital provides a Nurse Navigator for mammography patients

Research Belton Hospital understands the importance of yearly mammography screening and timely results. The Nurse Navigator coordinates patient care through the Medical Imaging Breast Center and establishes next steps for newly detected breast cancer patients and support for screening patients. The Nurse Navigator serves as a liaison for the patient and family and serves as a patient and care team advocate. Promotion of patient quality of life, smooth transition through the care process, and education are part of the services of Research Belton Hospital.
